Kung Fu is the result of dedicating time and sweat to its practice. Practice Kung Fu will not only enhance one’s physical health but also boost one’s confidence and mental toughness. The positive changes will be evident in one’s appearance as well. Shaolin Kung Fu has played a tremendous role in promoting worldwide cultural interactions.
Director Master Yan, Yanqing Ding, started martial arts since childhood. He was selected by the Shaolin Temple in Songshan, Henan at the age of eight to continue his Kung Fu training as a lay disciple. After 10 years of hard training, he became even more determine and possessed superb Kung Fu abilities, proficient with eighteen weapons and a variety of Kung Fu boxing. Master Yan won many gold medals in a variety of martial arts contests, which included International Wushu Championship, World Traditional Wushu instruments Championship, Shaolin boxing contest, etc,. He had participated many times in a large-scale variety show for CCTV. In 2004 at the Great Hall of Beijing, his wonderful performances of martial arts were highly praised by the leaders of the two countries, the Chinese President Hu Jintao and Russian President Vladimir Putin. In 2006, the Chinese government selected ten best martial artists to accompany Premier Wen Jiabao, and other national leaders to visit Egypt. Master Yan was one of them. The ten martial artist’s wonderful performance in Egypt was broadcasted live by the China Central Television and the Egyptian Television. The incredible kung fu performances impress every audience. Premier Wen Jiabao, at the end of the show, with other national leaders, met Master Yan with special greetings and high praise. Master Yan started teaching Kung Fu in 2002 at the Shaolin temple.
In 2012, Master Yan founded his first martial arts school, named the International Chi Institute, determined to share his years of martial arts experience with martial arts admirers. To date, he has more than 20 years of teaching experience.
Qi Gong

The Chinese studied Qi (energy circulating in the body) for about four thousands years. It was one of the best-kept secrets in the world. It was only handed down through oral transmission.
Qi Gong is the study of Qi in the body. There are different fields of Qi Gong such as: acupuncture, Chinese herbs for medical purpose, martial arts, massage, healing, spiritual enlightenment. They are all related and cannot be separated. Qi Gong also is the most unique training of Chinese martial arts. Practitioners boost phycial body's functioning to a higher leverl through mental concentration.
A lot of illnesses are caused by unbalanced Qi. Qi Gong practice is used to readjust the qi circulation, maintaining health, and treat the illness. Practitioners amplify their own energy by harnessing the infinite power (energy) of the universe for a benefit of humanity. They learn how to feel themselves; to understand themselves; and to deal with their own mind or body. Qi Gong is an system of self-healthcare.
Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for defense training and health benefits. It is also a practice of calmness and relaxation. Yin and Yang is Tai Chi’s theoretical root. It can be traced around 4 thousand years ago.
Tai Chi is a moving meditation. A good Tai Chi practitioner is able to sense the Qi (bioelectricity or energy) circulating within the body. Practitioners can achieve a peaceful mind of meditation by smooth Qi and blood circulation within the body. It is why people practice Tai Chi for improving health or curing illnesses.
